No drawstring, liner partially dry & some cracking, but good & original.
Missing for thirty years, I found these items, I thought had been lost forever, today, Jan. 6th, 2004! The M44 breast eagle was given to my mother by a G.I., who took it from a German POW, in 1944.

M35, one of my first helmets. Postwar split pin heads that are too small. Postwar 1950's or 60's repaint over some rust. Postwar National shield peeling. Inside and liner and chinstrap all look original. This one came from a top dealer in the 1960's.
